“Parovoz” — 2024: Year in Review

The year 2024 was a milestone for “Parovoz” studio as it celebrated its 10th anniversary. The team received congratulations from Russia’s Minister of Culture, Olga Lyubimova, Moscow’s Head of the Department of Culture, Alexey Fursin, as well as representatives from Russian and international animation studios, children’s TV channels, and other partners.

“Musya, Chuk, and Stanislav” Animated Series to Premiere on Carousel Channel on December 2

A new Russian animated series, “Musya, Chuk, and Stanislav”, will premiere on December 2 on the Carousel channel. The script was created with the participation of representatives from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The project is produced by the “Parovoz” studio, known for its popular animated series like “Fairy Patrol,” “Tweetville,” and “Mi-Mi-Bears.”

Alexander Afonasyev Presents the Film “Out there” at the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth

On October 7, director Alexander Afonasyev from the “Parovoz” studio participated in the screening of the animated film “Out there” at the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth. The event included a discussion on modern animation for children, networking sessions with filmmakers attending the festival, and an audience Q&A about the film.

Animated Film Mother Ship Nominated for the Taichung International Animation Festival (TIAF)

The animated film Mother Ship, produced by the Parovoz Studio with support from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, has been selected for the competition program of the Taichung International Animation Festival, set to take place in Taichung from October 18 to 27, 2024. This year, the festival received 3,000 submissions from 107 countries and regions, and 62 works were shortlisted for the short film competition.
