Digital Television Company and Alibaba Group have finished the sale of media rights for 10 popular animated series of Parovoz Studio to China. Namely those series are Be–Be–Bears, Paper Tales, Leo and Tig, Fantasy Patrol, F.A.S.T., Magic Lantern, Rolando Locomotov, Woodventures, Cutie Cubies, and Heroes of Envell.
On 15 March, Russian media group Digital Television Russia made at once several biggest deals with China selling media rights for the largest pool of cartoons in history with the volume more than 550 series!
“Fantasy Patrol” series were rewarded in Cyber Sousa 2017 contest as the “Best Overseas Animated Series” at Xiamen in China.
Among the leaders of the domestic animation industry the «Parovoz» studio has been chosen to introduce the Chinese market to Russian animation.
The same as last time, the film forum will be held on the ship, which will travel along the route Moscow — St. Petersburg. The competitive program of the KROK-2017 includes 131 films from 36 countries. In total, 972 applications from 54 countries were submitted.
