Out there is a nominee at the largest international festival in Stuttgart
15.03.2024
Stuttgart International Animated Film Festival (ITFS) is one of the largest and most important events. Every spring, amateurs, artists and industry professionals gather in unique festival atmosphere to highlight the diversity of the animation world.
The short animated film “Out there” (directed by Evgeny Golovin and Alexander Afonasyev), produced by the Parovoz studio, is nominated in the Tricks for Kids category (the award for the best animated film for children).
“Out there” is a story about a boy Pete. He is not like all the others. Peter seems to be on the other side of the glass, which separates his world from ours. Usually it is difficult for people to understand Peter, and for the boy it is hard to adapt to the world, which is too complicated for him. But if a man is kind enough and eager to give a hand of sympathy and support, then in our huge and diverse world there is a place for everyone, even for the most “special” guy!
ITFS festival has been held since 1982 and has become a large meeting space for animators from all over the world. The program ranges from screenings by famous animators and popular films from the “World Animation” to workshops by famous screenwriters. The festival always focuses on short and full-length films, creative meetings and much more.
ITFS festival takes place from 23 to 28 April 2024.
