«Lost Miracle» film will be released and shown in Russian cinemas
21.06.2022
On July 16, 2022, the animated feature film «Lost Miracle» will be released in Russian cinemas. The cartoon is produced by the Parovoz studio with the support of «Rostec» State Corporation and belongs to GPM KIT Group companies which are included into Gazprom-Media. «Lost Miracle» is distributed by Central Partnership film company. Welcome to the cinema!
The plot of the cartoon is centered around the journey of modern children into the past. Through challenges they start to understand better the true value of friendship, re-evaluate their attitude to greed, pride and cowardice, learn to help one another when it is needed.
Classmates Dima, Nastya and Gosha flee from their tour group in the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra and start to explore it on their own, looking for treasure. In one of the towers of the monastery, the children find by chance a magic portkey that takes them to the past. Since that moment, their main goal is to get back home. To achieve it, the children have to go through the «wonderful forest» of the XIV century when Russia was conquested by the Mongol horde. Saint Sergius of Radonezh helps the classmates during their journey.
The cartoon is scheduled to be released on July 18, 2022 as this date marks 600 years since uncovering of the relics of St Sergius, which is a remarkable event in the history of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra and the Russian Orthodox Church.
While the project was in progress, the creative team worked closely with consultants from the Moscow Theological Academy and the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra. To create a proper atmosphere of past centuries, the artists got inspiration from the aesthetics of Russian painting while choosing the color scheme.
The fast-paced time-traveling plot and vibrant animation created in the contemporary visual style are sure to captivate viewers of all ages!
ENJOY WATCHING!

«It is an unusual and very modern cartoon in a good way. The story is both for family viewing and for going to the cinema as a whole class. «Lost Miracle» can be watched by the whole family — children will enjoy dynamic, expressive animation, funny jokes and adventures, while adults will have a chance to learn something new from the well-known events. Life and charisma of Sergius of Radonezh can fascinate people of all ages. It seems to me that the situation itself and surprising communication between modern children and bright representatives of medieval Russia, direct meeting of the future and the past, will amaze the imagination.»
