«The Everlasting Story» took second place in the competition of the Animation Forum in Cairo

«The Everlasting Story» cartoon, created by the Parovoz studio in cooperation with the Digital Television media holding, took second place in the feature film competition, at the XIII Animation Forum in Cairo. The International Congress of Animators began on October 17 and was held under the patronage of Nevin El-Kilani — the Minister of Culture of Egypt. The film about the adventures of young Koshchey is included in the show program of the event.

The judging commissions had chosen 112 works from 33 countries for the participation in the competitions of the XIII Animation Forum in Cairo. Among the countries that took part in it there were France, Germany, the USA, Brazil, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, India, Japan, Algeria, Lebanon, etc. 12 films participated in the competition of animated feature films.

«The Everlasting Story» cartoon was the highest grossing Russian animated film in 2021 and became one of the top three most popular domestic cartoons during the pandemic. The animated film about young Koshchey with some characters from the universe of the popular animated series «Fantasy Patrol» was announced the «Best Full-Length Cartoon» at the XXVII Suzdalfest, the VI International Film Festival in Sochi, the ZILANT festival in Kazan and the White Nights Film Festival in St. Petersburg. The cartoon was also included in the shortlist of the «Golden Eagle» National Award in the field of cinematography.
