The Everlasting Story received and award at the International Film Festival “In the Family Circle”

The full-length animated film The Everlasting Story, created by the Parovoz studio in cooperation with the Digital Television media holding, received an award at the XVIII International Film Festival of Family and Children’s Films «In the Family Circle» in the nomination Best Director.

On July 8, Yaroslavl hosted the opening of the XVIII International Film Festival of Family and Children’s Films «In the Family Circle». The opening ceremony took place in the Millennium Concert Hall.

This year, the best family films from all over the world have been presented at the festival, including such states as Russia, India, Mexico, Iran, Italy, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Belarus. There have been the films that demonstrate the significance and importance of the traditional family in the modern world. Besides the works by acknowledged masters of cinematography, the audience also saw films by young directors who passed a tough selection.

The Everlasting Story evolved from the universe of the popular animated series Fantasy Patrol. According to the plot, young and strong Koshchey is going to take revenge on the Ice Monster who killed his family. On the way to the goal the hero faces numerous trials which he manages to overcome with the help of Swordy a chatterbox, brave circus performer May, insightful Yaga, dexterous Mr. Wobble, young witches from the Fantasy Patrol and other characters.

In 2022, the film received the prestigious TEFI-KIDS award in the nomination Best Animated Film for Children, is was also awarded at the XXVII Open Russian Animation Festival in Suzdal and three more international film festivals — Sochi Film Festival, ZILANT and the White Nights Film Festival. The Everlasting Story was shortlisted for the Golden Eagle National Film Award. In addition, the film took second place at the XIII Animation Forum in Cairo and was named the best feature film at the VII Ajayu International Festival in Peru.
