On July 27, young viewers from Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia will meet the characters of the Fantasy Patrol series, season 1. The beloved in Russia cartoon is produced by the Parovoz studio, commissioned by the Digital Television media holding. The best seven episodes have been combined into a feature film and will be shown in the cinemas of four countries in the Middle East.
The Digital Television media holding together with Empire Entertainment release to the Middle East the project, which received many awards, including TEFI Kids, IKAR, Main Heroes, Multimir, and others. The cartoon will be shown in major cinema networks of the region.
The story begins in Myshkin town, which can be spotted on the map of Russia. The characters become the guardians of the precious place, they protect it and help various fantasy creatures.
Each of the witches has her own unique style and temper. Helena is frank and cheerful, sociable and talkative, she acts first and then thinks. Helena wants everything at once. Mary is very reasonable and shrewd, she strives to do everything in accordance with rules and a prefabricated plan. The girl is an excellent student and an inventor, she understands devices well and can use both fabulous and human gadgets. Usually Mary can control her emotions. Snowy is thoughtful and silent, calm and delicate, she prefers not to interfere in the conflicts between the girls, at the same time, Snowy takes everything at face value. Valery is a leader, she is self-confident, adamant and straightforward. The girl is sharp-tongued and impolitic from time to time, but her fearlessness, strength and dexterity make Valery the true defender of the brave team. The girls possess magic powers that can be used in everyday life, but when the witches get changed into their magical avatars, the powers become concentrated so that magic can be manifested in its entirety!
The location of the project is of special interest, the work on it began in 2015 when the creative producer Evgeny Golovin remembered the cozy, authentic Russian town Myshkin, which he had visited once. The producer decided to settle the characters in that very town in order to reflect the atmosphere of coziness and charm of a fable, as well as to show the general peaceful mood of Myshkin inhabitants.
