«The Everlasting Story» animated feature was short-listed by the Golden Eagle award

The National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia has summed up the first round of voting and announced the nominees for the Golden Eagle Award 2021. The animated film «The Everlasting Story» was nominated by members of the Academy in the category «Best Animated Feature».
The premiere of the feature animated film ” The Everlasting Story «, created by Parovoz studio in collaboration with DTR media holding (VGTRK and „Rostelecom“), took place in cinemas on October 28.
„The Everlasting Story “ became the highest-grossing Russian animated film of 2021 with the box office of 130 million rubles in Russia and the CIS, and became one of the three most popular Russian animated films during the pandemic, with an audience of over 611 thousand viewers (according to the „Booker’s Bulletin“ publication).
„The Everlasting Story “ directed by Andrey Kolpin is a spin off of the popular worldwide animated series „Fantasy Patrol,“ which first came out to the movie theaters five years ago in the „MOOLT at the Movies“ film magazine series. The animated film » The Everlasting Story ” tells a tale of a famous character from Russian fairy tales before he became an Immortal and when he was still young. He is strong, handsome, drives a moto-bike, and seeks revenge on the villain who perished his family. But he is not alone in his mission, the brave sorceress May, the chatty Swordy the magic sword, the wise and insightful Yaga, the nimble Mr Wobbler and the young fairies from the «Fantasy Patrol» — Helena, Mary, Snowy and Valery — all help him along the way.
The main characters were voiced by Nikita Volkov, Irina Starshenbaum, Timur Rodriguez, Yuri Galtsev, Julia Aleksandrova, Polina Kutepova, Miroslava Karpovich and other famous Russian actors.

The Golden Eagle Awards ceremony will be held on January, 28, 2022 in the first pavilion of Mosfilm’s Cinema Concern.
The national film award Golden eagle was established in 2002 by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of the Russian Federation with its goal to support national cinema, to preserve its cultural identity and the basis of the national cinema, to encourage the best works of Russian and foreign cinema arts and its promotion throughout the Russian and international community.
