‘LEO & TIG’ SERIES EXPANDS LICENSING & MERCHANDISING PROGRAM

‘0+ Media’ and Maurizio Distefano Licensing has signed the agreement to develop the licensing program for Russian animated series ‘Leo&Tig’. Under the deal, Maurizio Distefano Licensing has secured the licensing and merchandising rights for ‘Leo&Tig’ across all the main categories of consumer products, including toys, publishing, apparel, accessories, and back to school ranges for Italy and Italian speaking territories. The characters of ‘Leo&Tig’ gained popularity in Italy thanks to the broadcast of the animated series on the main local children’s channel Rai YoYo.

Italian publishing house ‘Play Press’ has already released coloring books, sketchbooks and puzzles with the main characters of the cartoon, and ‘Mondadori’ company will soon be engaged in the production of books, storybooks, notebooks with bright stickers, colorful crayons and books with CDs based on the animated series.

‘Diramix’ will create a collectible sticker album and will develop a set of stickers and cards featuring ‘Leo&Tig’ characters. ‘Grabo Balloons’ plans to create helium balloons with a cartoon design.

In the near future, ‘Leo&Tig’ production will be available not only in Italy, but also in other European countries.
