Animated film “Out There” wins the Cartoon Club Award 2024 Special Prize!

The International Animation, Comics, and Games Festival Cartoon Club has announced the winners of 2024.

The Cartoon Club Award 2024 Special Prize goes to the film “Out There” by Evgeny Golovin and Alexander Afanasyev (Russia, 2024): for originality and the ability to evoke empathy through a short animated story, in which the issue of autism is conveyed in an impactful and understandable way, offering viewers a chance to see the world through the eyes of a child suffering from this condition,” — report the festival organizers.

“Out There”, created by the animation studio Paravoz with support from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, tells the story of an unusual boy, Petya, who sees the world differently from his peers.
