The film «Lost Miracle» is longlisted for the Golden Eagle Award

The film «Lost Miracle» by GPM KIT Group of Companies (part of Gazprom-Media), produced by the «Parovoz» studio with the support of the «Rostec» State Corporation, is included in the recommendation list of the Golden Eagle Award Expert Council for 2022. The shortlist of the award will be determined on the basis of the first round of voting. The feature film shows the journey of contemporary children into the past and the life of St. Sergius of Radonezh; it was shown at the cinema in summer.
The cartoon tells about three pupils who sneak away from their excursion group in the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius and go to explore it on their own. In one of the towers, the children find a magic portkey that takes them to the past. Since that moment, the main goal of the kids is to get back home, while Saint miracle worker Sergius of Radonezh helps them in this.
The director of the film is Andrey Kolpin. The cartoon is created by the Parovoz studio in cooperation with the Moscow Theological Academy and the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra. The release of the cartoon is timed to coincide with the day of finding the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh, the event happened 600 years ago.
The 21st Golden Eagle Award Ceremony will take place on January 27, 2023 at the 1st Pavilion of Mosfilm Cinema Concern.
The Golden Eagle is a Russian national film award established by the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia. The award is given for outstanding achievements in cinematography based on the vote of full members and associate members of the Academy. The Expert Council select films by categories.
