MY.GAMES and Allods Team Arcade presented the project, created with the participation of the Parovoz studio
At the PAX East 2021 online conference the international brand MY.GAMES and studio Allods Team Arcade shared the details of the development of the 2D action-adventure Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread. During the presentation of the project the creators showed 20 minutes of the gameplay and revealed the details of the colorful spy action production, including the arrangement of animated videos that are developed for the game by the team of the Parovoz studio. Blast Brigade is coming to Steam in September. After that the game will become available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, as well as Nintendo Switch.
The creative director of the Allods Team Arcade studio Leonid Rastorguev demonstrated the gameplay and key mechanics of Blast Brigade, he also told about two characters from the game — Scottish cyborg spy Galahad and spy Shura who works for KGB.
The process of developing animated videos for the game, conducted by the Parovoz studio team, was demonstrated to the audience during the online conference about the 2D spy action, which takes place in the atmosphere of the 1980s.
About the game:
Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread is a 2D action-adventure that describes a full of spy intrigues story of brave American agent Jeff and other secret agents of special services from major states in the late eighties. The agents meet by chance on a tropical island while going on a mission to eliminate insane villain Dr. Creed and his army of henchmen.
Each of the four main characters in Blast Brigade has special features that allow players either to deal with enemies more effectively or reveal new areas of the map. Scottish cyborg spy Galahad is good at defeating armored enemies and destroying obstacles, while KGB agent Shura is excellent at beating crowds of foes, she can also move dexterously with the help of a grapple. Altogether, there are ten different biomes in the game.
